Latest milestone will enable data scientists to rapidly extract deep insights from large, connected datasets in industries including pharmaceutical, life sciences and financial services
AUSTIN, TX - Katana Graph, the AI-powered Graph Intelligence Platform providing faster, deeper, and more accurate insights on massive and complex data, announced that it will further its partnership with Intel, accelerating the way that data scientists can rapidly extract deep insights from large, connected datasets.
Katana Graph has collaborated closely with Intel, creating a distributed graph neural network (GNN) training solution that is already 4X faster on 4th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors than commercial packages available in the market. These industry-leading, unprecedented levels of performance for training graph neural nets on large datasets will empower industries - including pharmaceutical, life sciences and financial services - to derive faster and deeper insights from their unstructured data, creating a competitive advantage and accelerating business growth.
This training solution is the latest milestone in Katana Graph’s long-term partnership with Intel. In the last two years, Katana Graph has made its platform deployable right out of the box on both 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors with Intel Deep Learning Boost, continuing to set up and run comprehensive graph AI pipelines for organizations.
Our partnership with Intel highlights how the combination of graph technology, high performance computing, and next-generation processors will give customers the critical edge in meeting these goals.
“Organizations today are constantly looking to anticipate customer needs, innovate faster, and successfully grow their businesses. An organization’s ability to meet these challenges rests in its power to understand its data and derive insights quickly and at scale,” said Keshav Pingali, Katana Graph co-founder and CEO. “Our partnership with Intel highlights how the combination of graph technology, high performance computing, and next-generation processors will give customers the critical edge in meeting these goals.”
Katana Graph’s powerful graph platform has consistently helped companies get more from their connected data. Its platform performs 10-100x faster than competing graph platforms, and runs on all three major cloud computing platforms - Azure, Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services.
“Katana Graph has taken full advantage of the 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors and Intel’s AI software optimizations, allowing it to offer an all-in-one graph analytics and AI platform to help enable users to derive rich insights much more easily at impressive speeds and accuracy,” said Wei Li, vice president and general manager of Artificial Intelligence and Analytics in the Software and Advanced Technology Group at Intel. “Graph computing is key for turning data into intelligence in virtually every industry, and customers will benefit from the unique advantages of our combined offerings.”
